Product Specialist (Immunology-Virology)

Key responsibilities :

  • Promote Company Specialty Care Brands in the field of Immunology through appropriate delivery of scientific message to the Health Care Professionals.
  • Is accountable for the achievement of the agreed Business Objectives.
  • Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Demonstrated strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, and develop, execute and adjust business plans.
  • Focus on the interaction with both prescribers and the payers / purchasers customer group in addition to demonstrating ability to build professional business relationships with all external and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifies and manages customers belonging to distinct segments and execute plans tailored to the different customer segments.
  • Interacts with both the prescribers and the Payers / purchasers customer groups, implementing the integrated customer model and preparing the different customer groups to better interact with the increasing use of indirect promotional channels
  • Closely monitors competitor's activities in the market place, communicates regularly this information with his manager and integrates new information to adapt marketing and sales strategies.
  • Demonstrates capacity to understand and learn scientific information quickly and continuously through self-learning of published data in scientific literature, through attendance of symposia and congresses and the internet.
  • Balances multiplicity of demands on role (e.g. market expansion and market share, prescriber and payers / purchasers, manager and Country structure etc.).
  • Understands and acts in accordance with all applicable laws, local compliance rules and Company policy when promoting Company products.
  • Develops strong relationships and networks within the country business managers and support functions
  • Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

  • Minimum 2 years in the current position by March 2018 in Multinational Pharmaceutical company
  • Experience and Knowledge :

  • Proven experience of working with experts (KOL) in their field.(Immunology Experience is a plus)
  • Experience in market development, i.e. experience in co-operation with customer groups outside of prescribers.
  • Demonstrated track records of regularly meeting assigned objectives (100% Sales achievement for two consecutive years & FP on behaviors for two consecutive years).
  • Demonstrated experience in formulary enlisting.
  • Very good knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting processes. Resources allocation expertise working with multiple customer segments.
  • Understanding of the complexities of interacting with high value and influencing customers
  • Knowledge of the business drivers within the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency of English Language.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Internet and e-mail
