Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting Process Engineers for our clients in Saudi Arabia. Our client is the leading Oil producer in the Kingdom and have facilities in a number of locations kingdom wide.
We are presently recruiting professionals who have extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and have extensive experience of Process Engineering.
You will be required to you play a critical role in the delivery of process packages. The role requires technical solutions and designing of fluid process systems throughout all phases of a project lifecycle.
Expertise in process engineering in the field of Crude Oil, Gas and Produced Water processes such as multi-phase separation produced water treatment for oil removal and sand handling packages is highly desirable for this position.
An exceptional appreciation of the commercial implications of engineering decision making, attention to detail, ability to work effectively with other team members delivering technical guidance and developing best practice, a keen focus on delivery and the ability to turn client-
driven requirements into profitable solutions are all critical to success of the company. You will be required to quickly turnaround multiple engineering proposals with technical accuracy to deliver a robust commercial solution, sometimes dealing time related issues.
You will need to be able to handle concurrent projects prioritising work under guidance. Crucially you will be required to simultaneously develop your knowledge and experience as well as that of the team through a variety of challenging projects.
This position is initially for a one year contract and you will be required to attend a FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW between the 24th-
29th September in the Philippines.
Provide technical solutions for the detail of design fluid process systems throughout all phases of project lifecycle to completion
Work under the direction of the Process Engineering Manager and with other process groups to support the transfer of technology and introduction of new products to a multi-
disciplined engineering team
Work under the direction of the Process Engineering Manager and with the Proposals and Engineering Teams to support value engineering and standardization of the core product portfolio
Attend and participate in bid clarification meetings, technical discussions regarding NOV technologies, project kick off meetings and provide process input to ensure customer care is at the foremost position
Present to clients and other industry professionals
Perform simulation studies and develop heat & mass balance sheets
Develop PFDs and P&IDs to suit process requirements
Calculate and size process equipment (such as pressure vessels, 3-Phase Separators, De-oiling Hydrocyclones, filters, pumps, eductors, etc.)
Perform hydraulic calculations and line sizing of single and multiphase fluid flow and slurry flow pipelines
Select and size control and manual valves to suit process requirements
Prepare process datasheets for Equipment & Instrumentation
Perform PSV calculations and generate process datasheets
Create and develop proposal and inquiry documents, detail design and specify for purposes of quotation, purchase and manufacture
Evaluate sub-vendor proposals and reply to bid clarifications
Participate in single and inter-discipline checks and reviews
Understand common place industry materials and their application
Have an understanding of instrumentation and its’ use
Have an understanding of NACE and NORSOK standards
Ensure a high standard of professionalism is maintained when representing NOV
Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy
Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

Have an understanding of common place industry materials and their application
Understanding of engineering documents and drawings
Educated to Degree level in a relevant Enginnering Field OR a chartered member of a relevant engineering institution or international equivalent
Minimum of 5 Year’s experience
