الرياضROLE SUMMARY : SAR is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Mobile Operations Inspector to deliver prompt and effective response to all real time Railway Operations and lead front line response activities with direct supervision of the Mobile Operation Inspectors.
An ideal candidate will have strong communication skills as this job requires to communicate within internal stakeholders i.
e. Operations Control Centre, Rolling Stock Management, Infrastructure Maintenance, Mineral & Cargo, Passenger Operations and Network Planning & Management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : Oversee and direct resources in response to all accidents and incidents affecting infrastructure, in conjunction with the SAR Operations Control Centre.
Undertake level crossing inspection, faulting and maintenance, accurately report all work completed / not completed.Identify and progress closure or implement other necessary control measures to reduce level crossing risk as low as reasonably practicable.
Where necessary and appropriate, undertake the role of Rail Incident Officer RIO , take responsibility for the command structure being set-up and lead the co-ordination of the infrastructure and service restoration activities.
Produce / maintain records as required.Act as principal contact on level crossing issues for local representatives and external stakeholders for the SAR networkManage the leadership and direction of the local operations team acting as a role model and mentor, implementing SAR policies professionally and efficientlyUndertake operational support duties as required e.
g. performance monitoring, weather related contingency planning, audit work, engineering works, vehicle monitoring, stores ordering.
Manage the local operation resources and budgets to deliver the day-to-day train service including during times of disruption / failure.
Oversee and deliver the competency assessment processes for the Network Operations Inspector teams.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Diploma degree (Preferred)MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Three years (Preferred)COMPETENCIES : Demonstrable influencing skills.
Enthusiastic and pro-active.Ability to lead and develop people.Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
Ability to engage with customers, and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
