Follow all relevant B2B department s policies processes standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems processes and practices taking into account leading practices improvement of business processes cost reduction and productivity improvement Promote the implementation and adherence to policies processes and operating procedures to others within Shaker Responsible for demonstrating Shaker s products and services including value propositions and high level technical specifications Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers to understand requirements Provide product service or technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers planning and organizing sales call schedule Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating selling propositions and benefit Submit sales orders by conferring pricing with managers and concerned stakeholders Prepare sales reports by collecting analysing and summarizing sales information and trends Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Shaker s products and services by attending educational workshops reviewing technical catalogues establishing personal networks participating in professional societies Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines market areas channel or teams supported Search for new clients who could benefit from Shaker s products and services in a designated region industry Persuade clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs Record and maintain client contact data Support marketing by attending trade shows conferences and other marketing events Provide presales technical assistance and product education Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts Help in the design of custommade products services Work deals assigned to the sales team supported prioritizing effort customers business requirements Secure from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal s technical close Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within customer firms Collaborate with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alerts the sales and technical teams to potential risks of deal closure Continually gauge customer satisfaction among key customer project stakeholders Develop success metrics including ROI adoption and businessprocess impacts and presents these to customer project stakeholders in a compelling fashion Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards Meet project implementation targets for timeliness and customer success metrics
