BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia.
We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Executive Logistics Specialist is responsible to the RSAF Commander for advising on Logistics activities associated with the SBDCP Programme, including Supply Chain and Engineering, Maintenance topics.
The jobholder is required to provide advice regarding the platform life cycle plan
When directed by RSAF Commander, shall actively engage with other RSAF HQ Directorates, each Operational Base and the SBDCP office to develop and encourage open communication.
To Support or participate as a member of various logistics (Maintenance / Engineering / Supply Chain) committees / boards and generate appropriate reporting and recommendations within his area of expertise.
To provide advice to the RSAF Commander on logistics matters covering topics such as Programme Management of Logistics activities at Commander’s level and advice on assuring robust contractual / technical documentation and conditions are in place.
To support the RSAF Commander to ensure the correct and timely reporting of platforms and logistics matters and conduct detail analysis to identify systemic issues / trends and improvement opportunities for the Commander’s consideration.
Provides independent advice directly to the RSAF Commander and, as directed, will connect with senior RSAF officers within RSAF HQ and Bases, providing advice on RSAF logistics related issues.
To participate in various committees when required & preparation of reports and correspondence.
Support and assist RSAF Commander, will engage with RSAF HQ and Air Bases on logistics related issues.
When directed by RSAF Commander, will engage with RSAF HQ and Air Bases on Logistics related issues.
Providing advice on RSAF platform related life cycle issues, and on mitigating logistics matters related to contract / performance reviews.
Extensive Air Sector aviation industry knowledge an advantage.
Experience of aviation, logistics, safety, quality systems, airworthiness, airframe engineering, aircraft control systems, aircraft avionic systems, design engineering, manufacturing, project / programme management, systems engineering, test engineering and aircraft systems integration.
Strong leadership qualities required, with ability to communicate at all organisational levels, varying methodologies in an appropriate and clear manner and establishing dependable relationships with the stakeholders
Strong technical and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency is essential.
Knowledge of the Military / Civil Air environment
Ability to facilitate, mediate and influence in diverse military and civilian cultures.
Understanding of RSAF organisational structure and regulatory frameworks maintenance and airworthiness
Understanding of RSAF procedures and processes from a working level (RSAF bases) to a strategic level (RSAF HQ)
Knowledge of business within KSA and KSA culture
