الرياضThe RoleA leading, global law firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Riyadh office. Our client operates in over thirty countries, with diversity therefore being a core value of the firm.
The successful candidate for this position will be the first point of contact for all finance related matters, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day running of the Finance function.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager who is based in Abu Dhabi, this role requires an in-depth understanding of the processes, concepts and policies underlying the specific finance activities required in Saudi Arabia.
Key responsibilities include; processing of payroll, preparation of financial accounts for audits, reconciliation of balance sheets, processing statutory invoices and supplier payments, expense reports and performing ad-hoc reporting and projects for partners and management.
Additionally, the role involves liaising with partners and the global finance team to establish and track the Riyadh budget, as well as providing professional support to fee-earners and business services staff in accordance with the Firm’s policies and procedures.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, candidates should have 4+ years of accounting experience, specifically international law firm experience.
It is an essential requirement of the role to hold a qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW, in addition to proficiency in MS Office Excel.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills are required in English; Arabic language fluency would be advantageous.
This role is open to both Saudi Nationals and non-Nationals (non-nationals require a transferable Iqama). The successful candidate for this role will be a pragmatic and self-motivated individual, who has the ability to operate under pressure and able to interact with people at all levels.
