Responsibilities :

The QHSE Manager will guarantee, for the project, that all QHSE requirements set by the contract and by Tajikistan regulations are met.

He / she will also correctly implement the Company's Management System, in line with ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.

The QHSE Manager will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing the QHSE plan, as well as for verifying that the project's functions correctly abide by the operational procedures defined by the plan.

In particular, he / she, on the project's worksite, will :

  • Collaborate in identifying QHSE dangers, assessing risks and defining prevention and protective measures connected to activities plants / processes.
  • With regards to the latter, he / she will identify environmental aspects, assessing their significance and identifying control and monitoring measures;
  • Identify QHSE training needs according to risk assessment process results, contractual requirements and local regulations, while also promoting worker information and training programs;
  • Guarantee a systematic assessment of the project's QHSE Management System, also verifying that it is actually implemented, by preparing and carrying out audits;
  • Promote, with the PM, QHSE related periodic meetings, engaging the Management and the Heads of each Sector;
  • Participate during the investigation of accidents, while carrying out analyses, identifying the causes and, with the PM, also defines the AC, monitoring their implementation and assessing their effectiveness.
  • He she will also draw-up the relevant reports and lessons learned;
  • Monitor the project's QHSE performance, guaranteeing that QHSE reports and documents to be sent to the Management and QHSE Department are prepared;
  • Provide support, for what is relevant to his / her area of responsibility, to the Procurement Department during the bid requests for subcontracts, assessing if the relevant QHSE Management Systems are suitable, for the QHSE contractual and company requirements.
  • Requirements :

  • 10 years of experience in the same job;
  • Civil Engineering University Degree or equivalent;
  • Qualified 45001 (also OHSAS 18001) and 14001 internal auditor;
  • Experienced with big buildings projects;
  • Good knowledge of plants, machinery and personal protective equipment;
  • Knowledge of risk analysis and assessment techniques;
  • Good knowledge of the main IT packets, particularly of Word and Excel;
  • In-depth knowledge of English.
