Our clients are a British based company which are renowned for offering high-quality vocational training in the Gulf, and have recently acquired a 5-
year training contract with the Saudi Arabian Technical & Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) to operate a number of Vocational Colleges in Saudi Arabia under TVTC’s exciting new Colleges of Excellence’ (CoE) Programme.
You will be tasked with training young Saudi Arabian males specific Welding skills which will allow them to work in the local Engineering, Oil and Gas industries.
Presently my clients are recruiting for Industry skills Trainers, with special emphasis on Welding Skills . As an experienced Welding Trainer, you will deliver expert training specifically based on initial entry level skills, before progressing onto advanced Welding Skills.
You will be expert in combining class room technical foundation training with on the job training on site.
As an experienced trainer you will be responsible for developing curriculum and teaching trainees various concepts relating to the fields of Welding Skills specifically for the Engineering, Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry
Help students to develop craft skills specific to the Oil and Gas industry
Continuous development of additional qualification programs
Working with other Institute employees to identify areas of training that require improvement
Participating and help to further develop of Oil & Gas on the job training
Co-ordinating with other Job Skills Instructors to develop curriculum
Monitoring lab access
Training classes with up to 17 trainees for up to 30 hours per week.
Follow a daily training class schedule of (8 hours / day) and average trainer contact periods of (5 Periods / Day).
Maintain positive rapport with all trainees and create a positive learning environment.
Enforce the trainee management and disciplinary policies of the Institute.
Act as an advisor outside of class to support trainees and faculty.
Perform clerical duties, as required, relating to textbooks, instructional supplies, trainee reports and records, attendance reports, etc.
Participate in Job Skills curriculum development and planning with other Job Skills Instructors and the General Training Manager.
Bachelor’s Degree or Trade Certification with 4 years Industrial experience or as a trainer in industrial or vocational skill
Associate Degree (Industrial / Vocational) 6 years industrial experience or as a trainer in industrial or vocational skills.
Trainers with no formal degrees who are craft certified should have a minimum of 11years of experience as trainer in a specific field.
Professional trainer certification from an international recognized certification / licensing organization is preferred.
PACKAGE ON OFFER
TAX FREE SALARY 220,000 Saudi Riyals with additional 35% of base salary for housing and transport (total package 297,000 SAR, $79,000USD, £62,000STG, $105,000 AUD, $107,000 CAD, €73,000 EURO, 1,035,000 SA Rand)
initial period of one year contract, with renewal options yearly
30 days annual vacation plus
Flights from home country & return ticket upon completion of contract
