JOB PURPOSE :

The Supply Chain (SC) Process Coordinator willcoordinate all projects for the SMSCMC Supply Chain Function, ensuring companyresources are utilised appropriately.

The Supply Chain Process Coordinator willCompile status reports, coordinate Project schedules, manage project meetingsand define scope and requirements.

The Supply Chain Process Coordinator isresponsible for providing training on relevant ERP and IF&P systems. Hewill develop business processes and work instuctions where COTS ones are notavailable.

The Supply Chain Process Coordinator will be required to support theSupply Chain Capability Development Manager with the design and implementationof any new SC capabilities on behalf of SMSCMC.

Your Main Responsibilities

ThisSupply Chain Process Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that thefollowing is carried out :

  • Create required document needed for the Supply Chain Capability e.g : governance, policy, compliance, requlations and framework.
  • Support the IT department with any SC related issues.
  • Coordinating all SC capability projects.
  • Compiling project status reports
  • Coordinate project schedules.
  • Manage project meetings
  • Identify and report technical issues.
  • Identifies system requirements.
  • Defines project scope.
  • Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
  • Maintain relevance of all Training on the SC systems.
  • Design a full process review program covering all Supply Chain ERP systems
  • Support the Supply Chain Capability Development Manager in delivering new systems / capabilities and the accosiated processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external customer organisations as appropriate.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships attending meetings as required and report daily any issues to the Supply Chain Capability Development Manager.
  • To Deputise for the Supply Chain Capability Development manager in his absents.
  • Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years Supply Chain or Engineerning Experience (Essential)
  • Supervisory Experience (Desirable)
  • Expertise in Deployment and Delivery of new capabilities (Essential)
  • Demonstrable experience and competence in MS Office Work packages (Essential)
  • Understanding of SMSCMC procedures. (Essential)
  • Understanding of SMSCMC Supply Chain IT Systems. (Essential)
