Job Description and Requirements

  • Responsible for the development and performance sales activities predominantly in the Middle East & African Region (MENA) with some additional support to other regions as determined.
  • Directs sales efforts and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values, predominantly in the MENA region.
  • In conjunction with respective Country Managers & Regional Sales Manager & VP of Sales & Marketing, Eastern Hemisphere, establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the region and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients.
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability - Responsible for the performance and development of the key accounts held in the region, with your direct reports offering guidance & direction to achieve previously stated goals and objectives.
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects in the following categories; Inspection (both Rotary & OCTG) Machining services, Internal coating opportunities Other associated drilling services offered by the company, both present and future - Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to look for opportunities to penetrate new markets - Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed - Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance of key accounts - Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin - Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports generated as part of the role - Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFQ responses - In conjunction with Technical Support, prepare proposals and presentations aligned with customer needs - Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines - Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team - Customer visits, client office based support and inter-company travel throughout area as and when required - Support other departments and carry out other duties (including travel to support other business units and global accounts) as and when business requirements dictate, as may be reasonably expected by line manager & senior management team with business unit.
  • HNC / HND in Engineering or Business degree or an equivalent level of employment history within field.
  • Min 5 years of experience in Machining Services and Inspection ( Rotary & OCTG )
  • MENA customers experience an advantage
